EUROPEAN COATINGS CONFERENCE 

Vinavil offered a technical paper at the European Coatings Conference during Architectural Coatings Session 2.  The conference run in conjunction with European Coatings Show exhibition and highlighted novel and innovative coatings technologies.  Neal Rogers, Business Development Manager of Vinavil Americas, presented the topic “Designing Acrylic Polymers for High Performance Single Component Water-based Concrete Coatings.”  The presentation explored acrylic polymer innovations from Vinavil.  Key polymer design features such as self-crosslinking and nano-size polymer latex particles delivered robust coating solutions for concrete surfaces of varying permeability and porosity.  The effects of Vinavil acrylics in concrete sealer and floor paint formulations are demonstrated through enhanced efflorescence resistance, chemical resistance, adhesion, and hardness.
